The Frya Nordland Territories consist of three Exterritorial Sovereign Territories surrounded by the Federal Republic of Germany and one Overseas Territory also claimed by France. The FNT were created by the merger of Fishtown Newport Territory and Freija Nücke Territoria (both also abbreviated "FNT") in 2020.
The FNT have been recognized as a Micronation by the FM, following the "DFSM Trias" criteria. They are seen as a friendly partner state due to the multiple commercial and non-commercial connections between the FNT and the FM.

The State Department of the Federated Micronations (SDFM) understands that there is no territorial conflict between the FNT and the Free State of Oldenbourg, a state which has been unilaterally recognized by the Federated Micronations.
The international subsidiary of Capricornia Post, Capricornia Post Extraterritorial Agencies (CPEA), has opened an Agency within the FNT in 2015, naming the Administrator of FNT also as the Postmaster of the Agency. A number of stamps have been issued for the former Fishtown Newport Territory, denominated in Euro, and for the unified Frya Nordland Territories, denominated in calculated Nord cN.
